EZEKIEL Christ the Restorer of the Temple

Ezekiel speaks into exile, displacement, spiritual corruption, and the loss of God's visible dwelling. Yet his visions repeatedly return to restoration. A new heart. A new spirit. Dry bones living again. A restored temple. The river flowing from God's house. The return of divine presence. Ezekiel's deepest message is that God intends to dwell among His people again. Christ fulfills this temple expectation in a remarkable way. Jesus identifies His own body as the temple. Through His death and resurrection, a new dwelling place is established. The New Testament then declares that God's people collectively become His temple. This means restoration is ultimately about presence. God does not rebuild merely so that structures can exist. He rebuilds so that He may dwell. Ezekiel's river also reveals that God's presence is meant to bring life beyond the walls of the house. Where the river flows, life appears.

Sonship Application: Mature sons become carriers of presence. God's restoration within us should eventually release life around us.
