THE GOSPELS Christ Manifested

Everything anticipated throughout the Old Testament begins taking visible form in the Gospels. The Seed has come. The Lamb has come. The Prophet has come. The Priest has come. The King has come. The Son has come. Jesus does not simply teach us about God. He reveals the Father. “The Word became flesh.” What had been communicated through patterns, promises, sacrifices, kings, prophets, and symbols now stands embodied in a Person. Jesus demonstrates what humanity looks like when perfectly aligned with the Father. He loves. He confronts. He heals. He forgives. He serves. He governs. He obeys. He lays down His life. The kingdom is no longer merely announced prophetically. It becomes visible through the Son. This is why the Gospels are central to understanding sonship. Jesus is not merely our Savior from sin. He is the pattern of the humanity the Father intended. Salvation restores us toward His image.

Sonship Application: Mature sons study Jesus not only to know what He did for them, but to learn how the Father's nature is represented through a Son.
