The Epistles explain what the finished work of Christ is intended to produce within God's people. Doctrine matters because formation matters. Romans reveals righteousness and transformed living. Corinthians addresses maturity within community. Galatians protects freedom and sonship. Ephesians reveals identity and the corporate body. Sonship Application: Mature sons do not measure spiritual growth merely by accumulated teaching. Growth is measured by how clearly Christ's nature is being formed within character, relationships, decisions, and service.
